The overall goal of the project is to adopt sustainable development mechanisms that improve the socioeconomic conditions of rural communities; by introducing environmentally sounds practices and innovative irrigation technologies that optimize the use of conventional and non-conventional food security and generating income with youth and women involvement in the entrepreneurship framework.

The project aims to achieve these goals through enhancing green and environmental practices through cultivating new potential crops suitable to be irrigated by treated wastewater and enhancing water treatment system.
